In 2024 the Everglades Lagoon Wetland bushcare group became part of PEG. The bushcare group has been operating for more than 30 years and continues to also be responsible to Central Coast Council.
The Everglades Lagoon Wetland is bounded by Everglades golf course, Everglades Country Club carpark and Kerrawah Boulevard, Woy Woy, and is the only wetland on the Peninsula. Volunteers help restore and maintain this beautiful hidden gem with access via Kerrawah Boulevard.
New volunteers are always welcome.
The bushcare group meets every second and fourth Saturday of each month at the intersection of Kerrawah Boulevard and Boronia Avenue, Woy Woy. Summer 8-11am. Winter 9am-noon
