Woy Woy Environment Centre is based in the old St Luke’s Church, 267 Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy; cnr Billabong St. It is one of the oldest buildings on the Woy Woy peninsula and heritage listed. The Centre hosts PEG events and LETS trade days and is available for hire by other local environment and community groups. Contact Mark Snell to ask about booking the centre.

Native Garden
We have created a beautiful new native garden for the centre to highlight the use of local native plants for gardens in the Woy Woy area. The project was funded by a grant from Gosford Council, managed by local environmental consultants Equilibrium, with work by volunteers from the Peninsula Environment Group. The new garden was opened by Gosford councillor Peter Freewater on 6 June 2010.

Many of the plants in the garden belong to the endangered Umina Coastal Sandplain Woodland.
