Our solar panel offer, run with Aussie Solar and Climate Action Newcastle is now closed. We’re still waiting for the final numbers who went through with the offer but we sent the paperwork out to more than sixty people. That’s a pretty good effort for a scheme with no real promotion or advertising and shows the strong desire within the community for clean energy sources such as solar.
That interest in solar was confirmed when 55 people attended Dr Joachim Muller’s talk at the WWEC on solar energy.
Although the solar panel offer is closed, we’ll keep looking out for more ways to promote renewable energy in our community.
